Vice President, Sales

A premium start-up beverage company based in Los Angeles is ready for rapid growth and is looking for a Vice President, Sales with extensive experience in the beverage industry to lead the sales effort.

This is a senior management position reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Distributor selection and management.
  • National and regional chain account sales.
  • Assist in developing strategic marketing plan.
  • Recruit, train and manage sales team.
  • Exceed Sales goals.

Regularly performed duties include:

  • domain Activity and sales reporting.
  • Monitor budgets and sales expenses.
  • Establish long-term customer relationships focused on 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Develop account strategies in accordance with company sales objectives.
  • Develop annual sales plan.
  • Hire, train and develop an effective sales team
  • Prepare weekly recap reports to CEO.


  • 10 years related sales experience. Beverage industry experience preferred but will accept Consumer Products industry experience.
  • Experience calling on National and Regional Chain Accounts
  • Ability to acquire and develop new accounts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
